Si

I love all things Cate Blanchett. I mean why wouldn't you; her maturity, style and elegance are a few reasons. When I noticed she was the face of Giorgio Armani's latest perfume creation, I mentally prepared myself for a new scent in my collection. And I have not been let down.

My initial thoughts when I whiffed the fragrance were of elegance, sophistication and a youthful maturity. It has woody and at the same time fruity notes and after a while, you start to notice a slight vanilla scent to it as well. In terms of longevity, I would say it is very long lasting as I sprayed it on my neck a while ago and put on my scarf. Now every time I wear that scarf, I can smell the fragrance. Armani's Si is offered in 30ml, 50ml and 100ml eau de parfum as well as body milk and shower gel in 200ml cans. When you purchase it in 50ml and above, be sure to request for a complimentary gift of 2 miniature Si perfumes*.

I have previously owned Armani Code and to say I loved it is the understatement of the month. However, this fragrance has sealed my fate of becoming a brand follower of Giorgio Armani and I would highly recommend it as a gift. Loving this scent at the moment? What are your thoughts?

That skin boost

My skin has gone through some serious changes, as is the same with most of us. Most of the time I have been oblivious to how we (my skin and I) can have a better relationship. I have always stuck with what was known to me. Which isn't always the best treatment for your skin.

I therefore decided to venture into different products that I read online. Holland and Barrett's Vitamin E Pure Oil stood out for me. Since my skin was constantly breaking out, dry, has large pores and had scars, I needed something to nourish and calm my skin down. I have combination oily skin and the thought of applying more oil onto my face scared me. But the research I made laid my fears to rest.

I feel as though this is my skin rescue product. My skin barely breaks out anymore and my scars have not disappeared but aren't as dark as they used to be. Many products work differently for various skin types, but I am positive that this product is one of those that helps various skin types. Have you tried this product out? What are your thoughts?

Topshop Aurora

How fitting? The term aurora means the dawn or rise of something. With the entry of a new season, I find this nail colour perfectly suitable. Cooler temperatures and the replacement of the sun with rain clearly show that the lovely summer season is over.

I find that with Fall comes the cliched colour of burgundy and other deep red tones. Now don't get me wrong. I love me some burgundy but I thought why shouldn't I experiment more with various colours.
I have completely fallen in love with Topshop's Aurora. It's warm tone gives me the feeling christmas. I am sure much has been said about Topshop's fast drying formulas, however for me particularly, the fact that the colour is not long lasting makes me slightly disappointed. None the less, this iridescent colour is going to be one of my favourites over this season. An alternative to Aurora is Revlon's Rose Gold nail polish. Have you tried the colour? What are your thoughts?
